Cherry Blossom
While experimenting with brushes on Procreate, I drew this illustration where I wanted to capture a fleeting yet heartwarming moment when two pairs of eyes suddenly meet.

For this video, I wanted to create a soothing animation that had a bit of mystery by adding a surreal element to it. Here, we see a hand holding a scalpel and cutting an infinite piece of paper to reveal a colourful underwater world.
Eyedropper
I wanted to experiment with character design and decided to create a cute little eyedropper character. While looking at reference pictures, the rubber bulbs reminded me of top hats, which inspired me to design my character as a gentleman.

This video was created for a Monday Challenge, a weekly challenge on Instagram for animators and motion designers, featuring a different theme and colour palette each week.
This time, the theme was "Elements", and I decided to represent air, earth, fire and water by drawing a landscape captured in a postcard. My inspiration for this piece is the beautiful and unique nature of Australia and New Zealand.
